I know it’s not quite the same as being on an actual tropical island, but I can say there is something special about bringing a little island vibes into your day.
So sit back, relax and mix yourself up The Best Tequila Sunrise Cocktail with Pineapple.
Don’t think for one second that “the best” equals complicated because that’s just not the case! This drink is delicious, easy, and great for any occasion and only calls for four ingredients!

Now, let’s get to the good stuff. Here’s what you need to make your own:
- 1 shot (3oz.) of your favorite tequila *pssst ours just happens to be our guy Jose Cuervo
- 1 tbsp or grenadine
- 1/2 glass of pineapple juice (Dole has never done me wrong, but Kari prefers the fancy shmancy cold pressed stuff.)
- 1/2 glass of Orange Juice (OJ in my opinion, has always been one of those things that you get what you pay for)
Add the ingredients in this order to get the sunrise effect: tequila, pineapple juice, orange juice. Give your glass a good stir, sir. Then add the grenadine.
Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a cocktail cherry.
